TIME IS FLUID

Time is Fluid. A metaphor.
This 14 foot tall hourglass of infinite liquid time is a metaphor, a visual representation of the notion that time itself is in constant flux. If we allow ourselves to release the perception of time as a ridgid linear experience it opens to doors to a more liquid solid state of mind. Speaking for myself, In the summer months is when I have a more elongated & elastic relationship with time. Allowing me to complete large amounts of projects, and work loads. Though come winter, Late Nov. thru the end of April, and often into May. I must accept that in those months time tightens, and my rebound from a highly productive summer season must find its balance. With this sculpture, and my self acceptance surrounding these concepts, I release the self doubt, fear, and depression that comes with my seasonal lows. Perhaps these ideas sit right with you, and this may help with whatever your human experience, and relationship with time may be.
